Dr. Jeanne Martin, who lectures, writes and consults worldwide in cultural mythology and psychological archetypes, holds a doctorate in Mythological Studies and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. An accomplished harpist, she will explore stories from ancient mythology related to music to discover how sacred songs played on the lyre were used in the Italian Renaissance to connect people to the Harmony of the Spheres. Music speaks to the world soul, Plato's anima mundi, as a portal to the sacred. Jeanne will present live harp demonstration of the uses of modal music in harp therapy.
