Andy Lo Russo, the Singing Chef, joins us before the holidays to sing, to demonstrate preparation of his famous Ricotta Cake, and to lead us in Christmas Carols. The author of the best-selling book and tape, Sing and Cook Italian, Andy has always had an intrinsic sense of music and food which culminated when he moved to California in 1991 and studied with the renowned vocal coach to the stars, Giovanna d’Onofrio, who coached Mario Lanza. Andy appears on the Food Network and is launching a TV pilot that will involve families in creating original and authentic recipes while they are singing and cooking together. We’ll sample the cake and his new CD, Cooking Cabaret, An International Cooking Musical.
